How would you describe your role and responsibility?

I mainly work with pharmaceutical development within the R&D organization, focusing on feasibility studies and formulation development. In addition, I am involved in the development of in-house production of excipients for alternative sourcing of our products.

Why did you decide to join Camurus?

After my MSc in Biotechnology at Lund Faculty of Engineering (LTH), I came in contact with Camurus at a job fair and  found the company and the company’s technology, FluidCrystal®, and the impact long-acting treatments can have for the patient, very interesting.

What is your favorite part about working at Camurus?

For me, the best part is having a lot of flexibility in my role and therefore, also a large diversity in my different tasks. But a big part of it is also having great colleagues!

What motivates you in your everyday work?

What motivates me is to be part of the full process – from the idea to seeing the final result.

What does Camurus’ value ownership mean to you?

To me, ownership means taking responsibility of assigned tasks and drive processes forward to meet set goals

How would you describe working at Camurus for future colleagues?

Working at Camurus is rewarding with a mixed bag of various tasks and challenges from day to day. It is a flat and diverse organization with cross-functional collaborations between the different departments.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my free time, I like to explore different food cultures from around the globe and try out different cuisines. At home I usually have some fermentation projects ongoing, currently a lot of kombucha brews. Apart from the kitchen activities, I also enjoy weight training, meditation, archery and games in all shapes and forms.
